Does the absorbance of a solution to increase or decrease as it becomes clearer?
I have a pink solution with absorbance measured. If I add the clay to the solution that eliminates the color pink, making the clear solution, no increase or decrease absorbance? I use a spectrophotometer to measure absorbance. I thought the pink solution absorbs all colors except pink, therefore, a solution clear to absorb all colors and does not work and its absorption is greater than that of a colored solution. * Srry if misspelled. Not knowing if the absorbance and the absorbance is scientifically the same or not.
His reasoning is the right path, but begins with an incorrect assumption. A rose is not necessarily the solution to absorb all other colors – some are passed directly into the solution. A clear, colorless solution were reduced absorption visible light, because light passing directly through the solution.
