I'm new to making candles and I can not find a site to answer questions unanswered, so Please help me. 1. About how many pounds of wax is there in a jar 8 oz 2. How many ounces of perfume should be used per pound? (Strong odor) 3. How dye do I use per pound? (In general, how much is enough and how much is too much?) 4. 1.I usually weigh how the container or mold with wax. So if my container is 8 ounces, which is 8 ounces of wax. This gives me enough to cast the first and second (Or more as needed). 2. 1 ounce of gasoline per pound of paraffin. Strongly scented You'll add a little more. 3. It depends on the penalty dye. This is much better to use too little than too much. You can always add more. A few drops is usually enough for me. Or if the dye used block, a little shaver. 4. Again, an ounce of wax.
