Fimo Polymer Clay
Why is my turn orange clay?

I carved a white Fimo clay and fired at 225 * F for 20 minutes in the toaster oven. Work has been turned orange … What happened? I am somewhat new to the craft of polymer clay, so I try again get the hang of shooting.

The temperature of Fimo, I think, is 265f. Premo is 275F for 30 minutes per 1 / 4 "thick. I guess the toaster oven "skewers and the temperature was well beyond what is safe. toaster ovens are best for baking the clay in. If you a regular oven, use that, if the temperature is correct. This is essential.
