Am I Ovulating? please help?

Hi my periods are every 35 days although passed 2 cycles I’ve started spotting about 4 days before i come on.
my husband works away from home so I need to work out my Ovulation days so that he can get some time off.
I purchased the clearblue digital ovulation kit and started testing on day 18 just like it said to that was 9 days ago and still nothing. I count back 7 days from the day my period finishes to get day 1 I dont count the spotting.
I should add that I thought I was possibly pregnant last month Had strong symtoms like sore breasts, increased thirst, and nausea but period was on time. and the symtoms just stopped possible early MC? I did do a peg test but it was negative
Had MC before going on to have my daughter who is now 2
I thought I should probably finish the 5 test sticks I have left and then test again next month maybe start earlier? before I go to the doctors.
also I have lost weight in the past three months just over a stone.
any advice would be appreciated

Making sure that you ovulate and exactly when you ovulate likely improves your chances getting pregnant.
