Mat Bevel
DIY need to know how to cut mats for image processing, how do I bevel the edges? Help!?
I'm re-Mat & Part of a mural and family photos. Michaels and Joanne want WAY more $ you can afford. How do I do it myself? I ruler and exacto knife. How do I get a beveled edge (and professional results!)? Is there a model for low cost or knife type of mats should I use?
You can buy hand corner cutting in most stores Art Supplies – I think the cost of less than $ 30 new. It is a piece of metal with a blade cut at an angle to cut the bevel. Takes a little practice to get results in appearance enjoyable, then buy laminated practice more. One of the things I have I done with your photos is to mount them on top of a sheet colored paper. It's not as elegant as mats, beveled, but it looks pretty good for framed photos.
