Polymer Clay Push
I have a model who want to Mold Polymer clay and recast. What would be the best material for mold?
If The mold will be a "push" or "press" mold. The molding material can withstand being driven without distortion?
It are several materials that can be used to make polymer clay CMS … Some are rigid, and some are flexible, but can still be stiff enough to push the clay (or what could be used with a mold "mother" behind them for extra rigidity). What you use may depend on the size of your item, if there is retention, cost, availability, etc. two ordinary clay and flexible polymers can be used to make molds, and various types of polymer clay can be converted into different types of molds (purchased or homemade).
