Difficulty making soy candles?
I made soy candles for almost a decade, using bottles as well size and the locks every time and I was never a problem until now. The only thing that varies is the brand of Soy Wax chips. this case is 50 pounds of Cargill. Since the opening of this If the wax with an identical formula for the perfume and color of some of the candles burn very well and some a small hole in the center of the wax or will not stay lit at all. After seeing that I had a problem I tried to use different types and sizes of wick. I thought that by using a core drill bit larger paper had solved the problem, but then I did a lot samples. Prepared six identical bottles with wicks, melt two pounds of Fragrance Oil wax, and added two ounces of some chips dye. Mixed well and pour into jars. Cooled all the balls in the same conditions. Some burn well and some do not stay on, some small holes burning in the center. Any ideas?
Well, I have no answer for you, but I met the same problem. I use a wick burned wood and some not so good. All the same batch? Very frustrating! I hope someone has a good answer for you!
