What is the best finish for an acoustic guitar?
I am currently in the process of building an acoustic guitar. Neck: Mahogany Tuners: East India Rosewood Home Plate: Sitka spruce Back / Sides: East Indian Rosewood links, Steak Sandwiches Koa w / BWB What the best result would be natural to use that does not affect the sound of the guitar?
All I know is that a sunburst finish would look good on a mandolin. In addition, to preserve the sound, sound cards spruce lutes almost never done.
